About
Design Powerful Strategies for Lasting Success
You’re on a mission. So am I.
When you focus on the root causes of social and public health problems, the possibility of changing your community for the better becomes real.
Take it from me, I know how frustrating it can be to implement programs that just don’t work. I also know how important prevention is.
I started out as a therapist working with addicted adolescents. When their insurance ran out, they were discharged whether they were ready or not. Too often, many relapsed after they got home. The last straw was when I had to fly one of our teens back to her hometown to be committed to a state hospital. She was just too ill to go straight home.
I knew there had to be another way. I wanted to make a difference in the lives of young people BEFORE they made devastating choices.
And so, I became a Community Psychologist. Community psychologists are all about prevention, community systems change, and equity.
I have helped many coalitions, nonprofit, and community leaders develop and evaluate community strategies that really work. Because the truth is, to really change communities, simple programs are not enough. That’s why I created Community Evaluation Solutions.
